Rev. Tim Koch (Linn, KS)

Tim Koch is the pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Linn, KS as the founder of JD2D. He grew up in MN, the son of two Lutheran school teachers. He received his BA from Concordia University in Seward, NE in 2006, then his M.Div from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis in 2010. He was ordained in the LCMS in 2011, and received his Masters of Sacred Theology from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis in 2013. He has served parishes in Cresbard & Wecota, SD, as well as Milbank, SD, and now in Linn, KS. He is a husband and father of five.

Mr. Adam Fosse (Linn, KS)

Adam Fosse was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In Middle School he became involved with Ongoing Ambassadors for Christ (OAFC) where he was first involved in door-to-door ministry. By the time he finished high school Adam was heavily involved in the national leadership of OAFC, participating with, and helping to plan and lead several national and international travel teams. In 2017 God called Adam to Central Asia, and in 2019 he moved there full time to work amongst Muslim minorities and train musicians for the fledging church. Returning to the US in 2023, Adam was led to settle in Linn, Kansas, where he teaches music, consults on overseas mission projects, serves alongside Pastor Koch in Hispanic ministry and a nearby church plant, all while leading JD2D trainings.

DCE Michael Leapley (Brookfield, WI)

Michael Leapley was born in Chicago, but moved at a young age to Milwaukee, WI where he was raised. He graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School in 2016 and from Concordia University, Nebraska in 2021. It was during his DCE internship at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Aberdeen, SD that he was first introduced to door-to-door ministry. His first experience was at an Ongoing Ambassadors for Christ (OAFC) event led by Pastor Koch on March 20th, 2021. From there he decided to bring youth from Aberdeen on a weeklong canvassing trip to Michigan in May 2021, and the rest is history. Michael has participated in and led many JD2D events. After three and a half years of serving as Director of Christian Education at St. Paul's Aberdeen, he accepted a call to Brookfield Lutheran Church in Brookfield, WI—which is his home church. Brookfield Lutheran hosted their first Jesus Door-2-Door event on May 3, 2025. Michael looks forward to his continued involvement in JD2D.

Mr. Kenneth Koch (Luck, WI)

Mr. Koch is the son of an LCMS pastor and a retired Lutheran school teacher. He is Rev. Tim Koch’s father.
